A number of Celtic fans have taken to Twitter to comment on Anthony Ralston after the defender’s performance for the Hoops in their Champions League qualifier with Midtjylland on Wednesday.
The Bhoys suffered a disappointing defeat in the second-leg of their second-qualifying round tie.

Callum McGregor gave the visitors the lead in the stunning fashion. But goals in the second-half and in extra time saw the Danes go through.
Ralston has not had the easiest time over the last few years. It did appear that he was unlikely to make the grade at Parkhead.
The 22-year-old is still yet to reach double figures for appearances in all competitions for Celtic for a single season.

So it surprised many when it was reported that the option had been taken up in his contract earlier this summer.
Of course, it seemed to be a decision taken due to the lack of options Ange Postecoglou had at right-back. But it still did not sit well with fans.
Ultimately, it was a disappointing night for Celtic. However, many supporters felt that Ralston was one player who could hold his head up high.
