Brighton & Hove Albion are reportedly set to make a late Deadline Day move to sign Tottenham winger Bryan Gil on loan.
The 22-year-old has been rumoured with an exit all January, with Feyenoord today reportedly making an attempt to sign Gil for the remainder of the season.
Yet Brighton could now be another option for the former Sevilla man, with Tottenham eager to offload Gil, who clearly has no place in the north London side’s future plans.

According to the Daily Mail, the Seagulls will rekindle their interest today to bring in Gil, though Brighton are aware that Feyenoord are also keen on signing the youngster on loan.
Indeed, with just a few hours remaining in the January transfer window, the race to sign Gil could come down to the wire between Brighton and Feyenoord.
And for Tottenham, they will soon have to make a big decision on where to send Gil, with Roberto De Zerbi’s side arguably the more favourable option.
Brighton could be more suited for Bryan Gil than Feyenoord

Brighton’s brand of football has been one of the most exciting to watch in the Premier League under De Zerbi, with the Seagulls also dominating in Europe having qualified last season.
And for Gil, the south coast side could be ideal for the winger to get his career back on track, with Gil losing his way at Tottenham since joining in 2021.
With Brighton a club known for improving players, Gil could suit the Amex Stadium life under De Zerbi, who might be the man to finally get the best out of the former Sevilla star in the Premier League.
