Chelsea overcame a Palmeiras side featuring Estevao in their Club World Cup quarter-final on Friday night.
The 18-year-old winger, who will be playing at Stamford Bridge next season, scored the goal which drew Palmeiras level against Chelsea.
Cole Palmer opened the scoring on 16 minutes before Estevao levelled with a neat goal from a tight angle in the 53rd minute.
Chelsea then sneaked through after Malo Gusto’s cross deflected off defender Giay Agustin and into his own goal on 83 minutes.
With Palmeiras now out of the competition, Estevao will be on his way to Stamford Bridge – and his last game for the Brazilian club was certainly a memorable one.
The Brazilian media sang the Chelsea-bound winger’s praises after the game.

Estevao earns praise for his efforts in Palmeiras’ loss to Chelsea
Brazilian outlet GE Globo gave Estevao a rating of 7 out of 10 for his efforts on the night, while the public score was 6.4 out of 10.
“He scored a great goal seven minutes into the second half after dribbling past Cucurella and unleashing a cross to beat the goalkeeper,” wrote GE Globo.
“He was very mobile on Friday and made some good runs down the right.”
Meanwhile, Nosso Palestra gave Estevao a 6 out of 10 and wrote: “He pulled a goal out of the hat in his farewell match with Palmeiras.
“He was out of the game, but the goal gave the Big Green a lifeline.”
Finally Correio Braziliense went with a 7 out of 10, writing: “He fought hard for the ball, tried to dribble down the flanks and gave Cucurella a hard time, who got the better of most of the moves.
“In the second half, he was lethal, scoring a beautiful goal, cutting past Colwill and shooting from an almost impossible angle to tie the game at 1-1 and score a goal for his next team.”
What Enzo Maresca said about Estevao after the match
Chelsea boss Enzo Maresca sang Estevao’s praises after the game as the Brazilian prepares to seal a move to Stamford Bridge that could be worth up to £52million.
“Happy because we won and also happy because Estevao scored, the perfect night,” the Blues manager told reporters.
“He is very good, a huge talent, fantastic player. The only thing is when you come from South America or another part of the world is that you need to adapt.
“We are going to help him to adapt, be happy and enjoy football. We have no doubt he will be an important player for Chelsea.”
Chelsea will face Palmeiras’ domestic rivals Fluminense in New Jersey at the MetLife Stadium on Tuesday.
