'Big things coming': Yunus Musah suggests midfielder who left Arsenal last summer could become an absolute gem
The Gunners have produced some excellent players over the years and the Hale End academy is arguably one of the best in the country right now.
Players like Bukayo Saka and Emile Smith Rowe have come through the ranks at Arsenal and gone on to establish themselves in the first-team.
But one youngster that has slipped through the ranks is Omari Hutchinson, who left north London to join Chelsea over the summer.
The 19-year-old has been labelled as an ‘exciting’ prospect but is now playing for Arsenal’s London rivals. The attacking-midfielder has been getting some first-team minutes under his belt during Chelsea’s mid-season tour of Abu Dhabi.
And now the Arsenal-linked Musah has praised the youngster on Instagram after he featured for Graham Potter’s men over the past week.
Musah on Hutchinson
Hutchinson took to social media to express his delight at getting a taste of first-team action for Chelsea.
Musah has since responded beneath the post and heaped praise on the former Gunners man.
He wrote: “Big things coming bro , keep at it,” alongside a round of applause emoji.
Of course, the pair actually played together during their time at Arsenal, with Musah also being a product of the Hale End academy.
The Valencia midfielder put in some impressive displays for the USMNT in Qatar and it seems that he could be heading back to the Emirates in the near future.
As for Hutchinson, he may end up becoming a player that got away for Arsenal as he looks to have a bright future ahead of him. He will be hoping to get a chance in Potter’s side over the course of the season after featuring for The Blues in their recent friendlies.
