Bernd Leno has spoken of his desire to stay at Arsenal beyond this season, claiming he is happy at the club amid reports over his future in north London.
Speaking in an interview with Sky Sports, the Germany international has claimed that none of his teammates at the club want to leave.
Reports over the last week or so have claimed that the former Bayer Leverkusen man, who has been labelled ‘excellent, has expressed his intention to leave the Emirates Stadium this summer. Meanwhile, there has also been reports over the likes of Hector Bellerin with reports the Spaniard also wants to leave.
When speaking about his future at the club, Leno, who has drawn criticism in recent weeks, said: “I am still happy at Arsenal. Arsenal is still a big club, a big name in the world and in the Premier League. There is nobody in the dressing room who says ‘I want to leave the club, I am not happy here anymore.’

TBR View: Leno’s comments allay transfer worries
When analysing the Arsenal squad, you wouldn’t have looked at the two goalkeeping options and thought ‘the club desperately needs upgrades.’
Both Mat Ryan (should he join on a permanent deal as expected) and Leno prove to be more than good enough options to fight for the number one jersey next season.
The 29-year-old was one of Arsenal’s better players for the first two campaigns in N5 and was even voted second in the player of the season competition last year.
Meanwhile, the Brighton and Hove Albion loanee has enjoyed a solid start to life in north London, showing our great assurances during Arsenal’s win over Newcastle United just two weeks ago.
Retaining Leno means the club have one less to worry about when they enter the summer transfer market at the end of this season. His performances coupled with the potential capture of his Australian teammate means Mikel Arteta has nothing to worry about between the sticks.
