Aston Villa boss Dean Smith is busy adding to his ranks ahead of the club’s first season back in the Premier League.
The Villans were promoted following a Play-Off Final victory over Derby County in May, ending a three-year exile from the top-flight.
Smith is not in the mood for messing around either, with eight new faces added to his ranks this summer.
The transfer activity is showing no signs of letting up either.

According to L’Equipe, the club wants to add Brentford winger Said Benrahma to the squad.
A bid of £15 million has been made to the Bees, with the player keen to join up with his former boss.
It is anticipated, however, that a higher bid will be required.
Smith’s former club will want to keep hold of their creative spark and won’t let him leave on the cheap.
The lure of the Premier League could prove decisive and it remains to be seen whether Smith will get his man.

Following news of the latest link, Villa fans have taken to Twitter.
The reactions were mixed. Some would be happy to welcome the Algerian into the squad; with other supporters unsure whether he was actually needed at the moment.
