Aston Villa have reportedly made an improved offer to sign Middlesbrough attacker Morgan Rogers after having two proposals rejected already.
The 21-year-old forward has caught the eye of Unai Emery, with Villa eager to sign the Championship star this January having impressed under Michael Carrick this season.
Labelled by the Middlesbrough manager as a ‘dangerous’ player, Rogers could be quite the long-term signing at Villa, who have been pushing to bring in young players in recent windows.

And now, according to the Daily Mail, Villa have now made yet another bid to sign Rogers, with the Premier League title contenders pushing hard to land the youngster’s signature.
Indeed, with six goals and nine assists in all competitions this season, it’s clear that Rogers has the quality required to flourish in the Premier League.
Yet if Villa were to sign Rogers this month, loaning the winger back to the Championship with Middlesbrough could be the smartest way to continue the forward’s development.

And with Rogers, it should be business as usual for the Villa Park side, with the 21-year-old attacker a prospect who could flourish in the Premier League in the future.
However, with Rogers impressing so much at Middlesbrough this season, loaning the winger back to the Riverside Stadium or holding off the deal into the summer could be the way forward with Villa.
