Aston Villa will continue their spending spree with the £15 million capture of Manchester City man Douglas Luiz, according to The Telegraph.
The Brazil Under-23 captain is set to become signing number eight.
Luiz failed to make a single appearance for the Premier League champions, having signed from Vasco da Gama in 2017.
The Citizens will insert a buy-back clause into the deal, according to the report.

Luiz has spent the last two years on loan with City’s feeder club Girona. During his spell in La Liga, he made 38 appearances for the club, earning mixed reviews regarding his performances.
Boss Dean Smith has gone about his business in an efficient manner this summer. He clearly wants to give all of his new signings the best possible chance of a full pre-season together.
Following news of this latest signing, the Villa faithful took to Twitter to speak of their delight at an exciting addition to the squad.

Luiz has lots of unearthed potential in the locker and the challenge for Smith will be to get Luiz performing on a consistent basis.
Provided the youngster receives a work permit, he will join up with Villa at their training camp in America.
