Arsenal will now let their ‘excellent’ international player leave despite only signing a new contract last month

Arsenal are looking to finalise a number of deals in the coming days and weeks and it looks like one of their cluster of international players could now leave.

The Gunners want to move certain players on before the seasons starts as Arteta and Edu get to work on freeing up space in the squad and wages.

As we know, the likes of Emile Smith Rowe are being linked with moves to Fulham and others, while Eddie Nketiah is a target for clubs like Crystal Palace.

But those two players are just a pair among many who could depart The Emirates this summer.

A number of younger players, as well as senior pros, could be on the move.

And according to The Sun (transfer blog, 11:59), goalkeeper Karl Hein could be the next to make a move away from Arsenal.

Arsenal to let Karl Hein go out on loan

The Sun claims that Arsenal will allow the ‘excellent‘ 22-year-old stopper to move out on loan this summer in a bid to get him regular first-team football.

With David Raya and Aaron Ramsdale in place as number one and two, there is little room for Hein when it comes to getting actual first-team minutes.

Hein will no doubt have a number of suitors as well, given he has already made 30 appearances at senior level for Estonia.

Arsenal only convinced Hein to sign a new contract with the club just last month and it now looks like they are trying to maximise his potential and value by sorting him out a good loan move.

Championship clubs, as well as certain Premier League sides, are likely to be keen on Hein.

Quite who wins the race, remains to be seen.

But as Arsenal continue to reshape this summer, it makes enough sense to let Hein go out and play and then come back in 2025 a better and more well-rounded player.
