Liverpool midfielder Fabinho has been reacting to Premier League rivals’ transfer business so far this summer.
And the Brazilian has noted the transfer of his compatriot Gabriel Jesus while speaking to the Athletic.
Jesus joined Mikel Arteta’s side earlier this month for a fee worth £45 million (Sky Sports) alongside Fabio Vieira and Matt Turner. Their North London rivals Tottenham Hotspur have also brought in five players to bolster Antonio Conte’s squad.

Chelsea have signed Raheem Sterling and Kalidou Kouliably and it looks like it will be an intense battle for the top places in the Premier League this season.
And Fabinho has acknowledged rivals adding to their teams ahead of the new season, specifically mentioning Arsenal’s signing of his Brazilian team mate.
Speaking to the Athletic he said: “Tottenham have bought some good players, Arsenal too with Gabriel Jesus going there, Chelsea too.”
The 28-year-old has lined up with Jesus plenty of times for Brazil and will know just how good of a signing this is for the Gunners.

Jesus scored 13 goals and assisted 12 times in all competitions for City last season and he’s already causing ‘real excitement’ at Arsenal during pre-season.
Fabinho also told the Athletic that the standard of the Premier League will be high this season as teams aim to chase down Pep Guardiola’s side.
He added: “Everyone has been reinforcing because everyone wants to beat City. That means the Premier League will be at a really good level this season.”
TBR’s View: Jesus is exactly what Arsenal needed after losing Aubameyang
One of the main reasons Arsenal failed to finish fourth last season was down to lacking a prolific goal scorer. The Gunners lost Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang half way through the season and Alexandre Lacazette failed to post similar numbers to the Gabonese forward.
Eddie Nketiah showed real promise towards the end of the campaign but as Arteta’s ambition is to get Arsenal back into the Champions League, they needed a proven striker. Jesus has won the Premier League multiple times and despite mostly being used as a squad player at City, he’ll be eager to prove a point in North London.
