Arsenal just might not be at the end of the road when it comes to the potential signing of Alexander Isak before the window slams shut this evening.

Reports this morning had suggested differing things when it came to Arsenal’s pursuit of Isak. It was suggested the Gunners were seriously considering paying his £75m release-clause. However, further speculation then suggested Isak was going back to Spain after a trip to London this weekend, effectively ruling a deal out.

However, according to the very latest report from Football.London, Arsenal fans shouldn’t completely rule out a late move for Isak. They claim that Edu is working hard on securing a deal for Isak and that it is still one that cannot be completely ruled out.

Isak sent Arsenal’s social media followers into a frenzy this weekend as he visited the English capital.

Real Sociedad have been firm in their stance on Isak so it would surely take a mammoth swing to suddenly see Arsenal end up with Isak.

Edu might be working as hard as he can on things, but ultimately, this one is down to money. And it’s going to take big money from Arsenal.

Despite being lauded as ‘exceptional’ during Euro 2020, £75m is still a huge fee for Arsenal to spend on Isak.
