Arsenal are looking to the January transfer window and reports are suggesting a bid has already gone in for Yunus Musah.
The Valencia midfielder was one of the stars of the show for the USA over at the World Cup this winter. Despite losing to the Netherlands in the last 16, Musah helped the US to a fine tournament overall and impressed with some brilliant performances.

FC Inter News are reporting that Musah is a target for Arsenal and that a bid has even come in and been rejected from the Gunners.
It remains to be seen if Arsenal will go back in for Musah just yet. But if there is even the smallest chance they can convince Valencia to sell, then it’s a deal worth pursuing for the Gunners.
Musah can further ignite Arsenal’s title push
With Arsenal reeling from the news of Gabriel Jesus’ injury, there is more pressure on the Gunners’ board to go and get players in January. And while the addition of Musah doesn’t replace Jesus, it will give Arsenal something else.
Central midfield has been an area where some consider the Gunners light. An injury to Thomas Partey or Granit Xhaka, for example, could be critical for them. If they land Musah, that takes some of the pressure off.
Musah was excellent in the World Cup. He provided the sort of performances that very much suit an English team.

Good in the press, equally good in possession, and with tremendous energy levels, Musah would add a different dimension to Arsenal’s midfield. In fact, he’d even be able to play with Partey and Xhaka, such is the difference in his game to those two.
Praised as ‘relentless‘ by the US media and lauded as a ‘stunning’ midfielder by FourFourTwo, Musah would certainly bring the energy and desire to this Arsenal side.
And with a tough second half of the season to come, that influx of energy could ignite Arsenal’s title push even further.
