Arsenal and Spurs have both been linked with Andrea Belotti in recent months.
Tuttosport claimed in July that the Gunners had the Torino captain in their sights this summer.
Corriere dello Sport, meanwhile, reported that Tottenham were still monitoring Belotti in August.

But now it looks as though Arsenal are planning a late swoop for the Italy international.
The Daily Mail suggests that Belotti is one of the players Arsenal would like to sign in the final week of the transfer window.
And Gunners fans should be thrilled about this report as they’d be landing a top player and also getting one over on Spurs.

Arsenal and Spurs target Belotti – the story so far
Belotti has not only become a legend at Torino but has also written his name in Azzurri folklore.
The powerhouse striker joined the Granata in 2015 from Palermo.
Belotti has clocked up 230 competitive appearances for Torino, registering 106 goals and 26 assists.
He has also won 39 caps for Italy, scoring 12 goals, and was part of the Azzurri squad that triumphed at Euro 2020.

Belotti boasts several key traits including speed, acceleration, strength, work-rate, tactical awareness and of course, an eye for goal.
And his contract expires next summer, so unless there’s a breakthrough soon, he could be available for a modest fee.
Earlier this month, Zenit Saint Petersburg reportedly made Torino a £25.6million for the forward.
There haven’t been any updates on that front, so presumably Belotti’s future remains uncertain.
