Arsenal are reportedly on the verge of signing Martin Odegaard on a permanent deal.
According to Fabrizio Romano, the Gunners will land the Norway captain today.
The esteemed journalist claims Odegaard will pen a contract until 2026, option included.

In addition, Real Madrid are reportedly preparing their official statement which will confirm his departure.
Sky Sports have reported Arsenal will pay £30million plus bonuses for Odegaard.
And Arsenal fans should be delighted with the prospect of signing the playmaker – not just on loan again but permanently.
Obviously Gunners fans know what he’s capable of, having spent the second half of 2020-21 on loan at the Emirates.
At just 22 years old, he’s shown he’s got what it takes to shine at the highest level.

Indeed, Zinedine Zidane wanted him to stay and fight for a spot at Real Madrid in January, but “it wasn’t to be”.
And obviously earning the Norway captaincy at such a young age also underlines his talent and credentials.
Arsenal lacked creativity at No. 10 for a good chunk of last season, but Odegaard and Emile Smith Rowe were able to provide this.
And given Odegaard has been compared to the great Cesc Fabregas, he’ll no doubt help Arsenal back up where they should be.
