Arsenal are reportedly willing to sell Granit Xhaka for just £13 million this summer, with the player’s wife keen to return to Germany.
That’s according to Kicker, who claims that Bayer Leverkusen’s interest in Xhaka could be boosted by his family situation.
Xhaka has been exceptional for Arsenal this season and it’s come as a surprise that he’s been linked with a move away from north London recently.
Indeed, Goal claims that Mikel Arteta won’t stand in the midfielder’s way should he decide to leave the club.
And with Bayer Leverkusen chasing the Swiss international’s signature, it seems that Arsenal are prepared to let him leave on the cheap.

Arsenal ready to sell Xhaka
Kicker claims that Arsenal would demand around £13 million for Xhaka this summer, with his current deal set to run until 2024.
The German outlet notes that Xhaka’s wife is keen to return to Germany after the pair met during his time at Borussia Monchengladbach.
This could lead to the midfielder returning to the Bundesliga after seven years in England.

It would be a huge surprise if Arsenal allowed Xhaka to leave over the summer after what has been a ‘brilliant’ campaign for the former club captain.
But it seems that the Gunners aren’t willing to stand in his way should he decide his future lies elsewhere.
Of course, Arsenal were planning a midfield revamp ahead of next season and they have been heavily linked with a move for Declan Rice.
Yet, it seems they could be forced into bringing in more fresh faces than initially planned if Xhaka expresses his desire to return to Germany.
