Arsenal defender Jakub Kiwior has been linked with a move away from the Emirates Stadium in January.
Now, Calciomercato has provided an update on the Gunners man’s future amid reported interest from AC Milan.
Arsenal apparently want a ‘permanent farewell’ if they are to sell Kiwior – that is, sell him – and aren’t willing to just loan him out.
The 23-year-old joined the Gunners from Spezia in the last January transfer window for a reported £20million.
Although Kiwior joined Arsenal as a prospect for the future, he’s yet to really make an impact for the Gunners.

The Poland international has made 19 appearances to date for Mikel Arteta’s side, of which 11 have been starts.
This included Tuesday’s Premier League trip to Luton, in which he was subbed off after 64 minutes following a mediocre performance.
Meanwhile, Milan are currently in the midst of an ’emergency in defence’ and are still looking for reinforcements, according to Calciomercato.
Kiwior is apparently top of their list, but there seems to be a difference in opinion between Arsenal and Milan with regards to the terms of the deal.
While the Italians want a loan with option to buy, the Gunners are reportedly only willing to sanction a straight sale and recoup the €25million (£20million) they spent on him.
As things stand, there is ‘distance and margin’ between Milan and Arsenal at this moment in time, despite Kiwior being their ‘priority’ to strengthen their defence.
Arsenal seemingly willing to sell Jakub Kiwior
It’s interesting to read that Arsenal are reportedly already willing to part company with Kiwior after just one year on the books.
The 23-year-old is a player Robert Lewandowski has described as ‘extraordinary‘ in the past, while Cesc Fabregas deemed him ‘very fast’ and hard-working, and backed him to become ‘important’ for Arsenal.
Maybe the Gunners are effectively issuing a hands-off notice to Milan by suggesting terms they’d struggle to meet? We’ll see whether things develop in the coming weeks as the January window edges ever closer.
