Liverpool, Tottenham, Newcastle United and Arsenal all had scouts present to watch two players on Thursday night in the Champions League.
EXCLUSIVE from Graeme Bailey
This week saw the return of the Champions League and the Carabao Cup continue.
Liverpool managed to get the better of AC Milan away from home in a dominant 3-1 display, while Tottenham left it late to beat Coventry City.
Ange Postecoglou‘s side haven’t quite hit the heights this season with four points in four Premier League games, but they’ve not played badly.
Meanwhile, Liverpool enjoyed a perfect start to the season in their opening three games but couldn’t find a way past Nottingham Forest last time out, which gave them their first defeat.
One thing these two sides do have in common is that they are both looking at signing the same duo.
As TBR can reveal that Tottenham, Liverpool and Newcastle were all represented in Bergamo on Thursday.

Tottenham, Liverpool, Arsenal and Newcastle United had scouts watching Ademola Lookman and Ederson midweek
We at TBR are told that the main reason for their presence was to assess the progress of Ederson and Ademola Lookman, who they all looked at closely in the summer.
Both Ederson and Lookman were strongly linked with moves during the previous window, but Atalanta held off suitors.
However, interest remains strong.
Atalanta’s opposition Arsenal also liked both players.
How good have Ademola Lookman and Ederson been?
Ademola Lookman, who is valued at £51 million, has really made a name for himself at Atalanta over the past season or so.
He scored 17 goals and provided 10 assists last season, which included a hat-trick in the final of the Europa League.
Interestingly, Lookman was even nominated for the Ballon d’Or this season.
Ederson, who is valued at £50 million, is the anchorman in Atalanta’s midfield, breaking up play and starting attacks. He scored seven goals from the middle of midfield last season.
He’s only 25 years of age too, so his best years are still ahead of him.
Interestingly, Manchester United have shown an interest in signing Ederson, so they could yet join the race.
