The biggest market value downgrades in 2025 have been revealed and Arsenal midfielder Martin Odegaard makes the top-10.

The Norwegian arrived at the Emirates from Real Madrid on a permanent basis in 2021 for around £30m.

He has been one of the Gunners’ top performers over the last several years, with Gilberto Silva even claiming that Odegaard would make The Invincibles team alongside Bukayo Saka.

However, the current Arsenal skipper, who has had an injury-hit season, has seen his market value plummet this month.

Transfermarkt has now released the list of players who have lost the most market value in 2025 so far.

Manchester City and England midfielder Phil Foden tops the list, with a decline of €80m.

As for Odegaard, he was valued at €110m at the turn of the year, but as of October, his value has dropped to €80m.

Rodri, Bernardo Silva and Tottenham’s James Maddison also crack the top 10.

Who is Arsenal’s most valuable player?

Despite the huge drop over the course of 2025, Odegaard is still Arsenal’s third most valuable player.

Declan Rice takes second place, with a value of €120m, while Bukayo Saka (€140m) clinches top spot.

William Saliba (€80m) is fourth, while summer signing Viktor Gyokeres and Gabriel Magalhaes (both €75m) round out the top five.

Currently, Arsenal have the most valuable squad in the Premier League, worth €1.31bn.

Manchester City are second with €1.21bn worth of players, and Liverpool (€1.15bn) are third.
