Arsenal fans react to Sambi Lokonga reports
A number of Arsenal fans have taken to Twitter to comment on reports this week concerning the Gunners and their interest in Sambi Lokonga.
It is looking set to be a pivotal summer for Mikel Arteta’s men. The Gunners endured a disappointing year in the Premier League.
The frustration could come with an upside if used correctly. Arsenal perhaps have an opportunity to rebuild to try and get themselves back up the table.
And one of the bright prospects on their radar is Lokonga, according to Le Derniere Heure.
The report claimed that the Gunners are showing the most interest in the 21-year-old midfielder, who has captained Anderlecht at times this past season.
He is a player who has previously been linked with Barcelona and Manchester City. And he was named on Belgium’s standby list for Euro 2020, with Roberto Martinez hinting earlier this year he has an exceptional future ahead.
‘Looks a proper player’: Arsenal fans excited by Lokonga links
Those Arsenal fans who have seen Lokonga in action seem to be incredibly excited about the links.
Admittedly, some have their concerns. He is a young player who is playing in a league with a much-lower profile.
However, many think that he could be an inspired addition to their midfield ranks. And thus, they are hopeful that Arsenal are, indeed, showing the most serious interest.
With that in mind, here is how some of the fans have reacted to the links…

This brudda is beautiful, glides past bodies with ease and class passes through the lines. If he does this consistently then we’re in for a player.
