Arsenal are reportedly looking at signing Real Betis midfielder William Carvalho in the January window – and Gunners fans have taken to Twitter.
Carvalho, 29, has been linked with a move to the Premier League on numerous occasions – but a move never went through for the midfielder.
Now, a January move to North London could be on the cards. CalcioMercato claim Arsenal are considering a move for the Euro 2016 winner.
Indeed, Portugal international Carvalho is struggling for regular game time at Betis – starting just five of his side’s 10 La Liga matches this season.

Of course, Arsenal have been linked with a move for Carvalho in the past. Arsene Wenger was said to be keen a few years ago, only to stay at Sporting.
Arsenal do have numerous options in midfield. Lucas Torreira and Matteo Guendouzi are still on the books, though they remain on loan.
Mo Elneny, Granit Xhaka, Thomas Partey, Albert Lokonga and Ainsley Maitland-Niles are current options. But the latter could leave.
Elneny might be off, too. His current deal expires at the end of the season, leaving the Gunners with just newbie Lokonga, Partey and Xhaka.
What are Arsenal fans saying about Carvalho, amid reports?
A report from El Desmarque in the summer said that Betis would consider selling Carvalho for a bargain fee – between £7.6million and £8.5million.
Arsenal fans have taken to Twitter to discuss reports that the club are keen on signing the Portugal star – some are keen. Others recall previous links.
