Arsenal have been heavily linked with Shakhtar Donetsk’s Mykhaylo Mudryk in recent months.
And if recent speculation is anything to go by, the Gunners are edging ever closer to the Ukrainian’s signature.
A few days ago, The Mirror reported that Arsenal are close to winning the race for Mudryk.

Apparently, the Gunners have ‘the framework of a deal in place’ after Shakhtar lowered their asking price.
Now, they are reportedly willing to accept £40million plus add-ons for a player previously valued at around £90million.
Over the past few months, Mudryk has seemingly issued several come-get-me pleas towards Arsenal.
These range from interviews to social media activity. And in terms of the latter, something new has come up.
Mudryk appears to have liked an Instagram post from AFTV which discusses the prospect of him joining the Gunners.
Here it is below, via Arsenal Buzz.
Mudryk has dropped quite a few hints over the past months, and this is just another to add to the list.
The 21-year-old is an ‘incredible‘ player who has gone from strength to strength this year.
Hopefully Arsenal do get a deal over the line, and then they’d have another world-class attacker who can help the club kick on.

The longer the Gunners leave it, the more he’s likely to improve and cost, not to mention more and more clubs circling.
Just like when Liverpool bought Luis Diaz in January amid interest from Spurs, so should Arsenal go all out for Mudryk in just over a month’s time.
