TBR Football have now been told Dean Huijsen has a release clause at Bournemouth – with Arsenal, Chelsea and Liverpool all on alert.
The Spain U21 international has been a sensation in the Premier League this season, scoring two goals in 18 appearances so far to help the Cherries sit seventh with one of the best defensive records of all 20 clubs.

Bournemouth paid just £12.6m to sign the 19-year-old from Juventus back in July 2024, taking advantage of the fact the Italian giants needed to sell for financial reasons.
Now, TBR Football have learned that Huijsen has a release clause in the six-year contract he signed in July, with Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool and other Premier League sides monitoring the situation.
Dean Huijsen has £55m release clause
Graeme Bailey – Chief Correspondent at TBR Football – has now been informed that the teenager has a release clause worth around £55m in his contract at the Vitality Stadium.
We understand Bournemouth have been reluctant to confirm whether Huijsen has a release clause for obvious reasons, but sources have now revealed there is one which becomes active this summer.
The Cherries are confident the Amsterdam-born defender will stay with them heading into the 2025/26 campaign, but that has not stopped several Premier League sides from taking notice.
TBR Football are aware that Chelsea, Arsenal and Liverpool are all closely monitoring Huijsen, with Tottenham, Newcastle and Aston Villa also keeping an eye on developments.

Atletico Madrid, Inter Milan and Bayern Munich are also keeping tabs on the situation.
Sources add that Bayern Munich are particularly strong admirers of Huijsen.
Juventus negotiated a 10% sell-on clause when offloading the central defender to Bournemouth, so Thiago Motta’s side stand to make around £5.5m if the £55m release clause is triggered.
Aston Villa, Liverpool and Newcastle tried to sign Dean Huijsen before Bournemouth move
TBR Football understand Liverpool, Newcastle and Aston Villa all made contact to sign Huijsen before his switch to the south coast in June.
Tiago Pinto – Director of Football at Bournemouth – ultimately proved to be the most persuasive, having developed a connection with the defender after signing him on loan for Roma in January 2024.
