Arnaut Danjuma has told ESPN that there are two things that amaze him about Liverpool ahead of the Champions League tie between the Reds and Villarreal.
The Yellow Submarine are looking to secure another massive scalp and go one step further than they did in 2006. Unai Emery’s side have knocked out Juventus and Bayern Munich on the way to the last four of the competition.

With Real Madrid facing Manchester City in the other semi-final, Liverpool will be many people’s favourites to go on and lift the trophy for the seventh time in their history.
They are set to face a Villarreal side which includes a reported transfer target for the Reds. Reports have previously claimed that Liverpool want Danjuma. He has scored 16 goals in all competitions, including six in the Champions League.

Clearly, the Dutchman – who has a £63 million release clause – is an admirer of the Reds. He shared what stands out to him as being the most impressive qualities about Jurgen Klopp’s side.
“The two things that amaze me [about Liverpool] are the intense high press – they do that so well – and the high defensive line. As a forward, it is so great to have a high defensive line behind you because it keeps you high up the pitch,” he told ESPN.
Liverpool will not take Villarreal lightly as Danjuma lauds Reds
Liverpool have had their warning. Most would have expected Villarreal to be knocked out by Juve, and then by Bayern. So the Reds have absolutely no excuse to take them lightly.
Liverpool tend to be on another level when a professional performance is required. And that is certainly needed against Emery’s men. They have the quality to handle the tie with little fuss. But making sure that happens is another matter.
Keeping players such as Danjuma quiet will certainly help.
But Klopp will not allow his players to get carried away given the results that got Villarreal to this stage anyway.
