Tottenham Hotspur manager Ange Postecoglou has heaped praise on reported Arsenal target Ollie Watkins.
Spurs take on Aston Villa on Sunday in what could be an exciting game to watch. Both sides have dangerous players in attack and we’re sure Watkins will fancy his chances of scoring against Tottenham again.

Ange Postecoglou praises Arsenal target Ollie Watkins
Arsenal have been linked with about a dozen strikers over the last few months, and Aston Villa star Ollie Watkins is one of them, as reported by Chris Wheatley on ShotsTV.
The £28 million (BBC) Englishman is having the season of his life under Unai Emery. He has scored 21 goals and provided 10 assists in what has been a truly magnificent campaign.
Arsenal have been free-scoring over the last few weeks, but they are very likely to make a move for a new striker in the upcoming summer transfer window.
They’ll definitely have a number of options on their shortlist, but it’s hard to ignore Watkins after the kind of season he has had so far.
Even Tottenham boss Ange Postecoglou appears to be a big fan of the reported Arsenal target and has hailed him as ‘outstanding’ in his press conference today.
The Aussie said, as relayed on HaytersTV: “I think when you look at Villa it’s more about the collective but Ollie Watkins has been outstanding.
“It’s not just this year, if you look at his career, his durability to play game after game and still maintain a high level of performance an improvement in performance, credit to him and the coaches he’s worked with.
“The way he leads the line is outstanding but for us, it can’t be just the focus.”

Ollie Watkins is an Arsenal fan
Arsenal are one of the biggest clubs in the world, and there are quite a few players in the Premier League who grew up supporting the Gunners.
Aston Villa star Ollie Wakins, who has been linked with a move to Arsenal on plenty of occasions, once admitted that he was a Gooner as well.
Back in November 2020, after scoring a brace and helping Villa thrash Mikel Arteta‘s side 3-0 at the Emirates, Watkins told the world in his post-match interview that he hails from a family of Arsenal fans and was one himself.
He said: “I’m not sure my grandad or uncle Baz are going to be too happy! They are Arsenal fans and I am an Arsenal fan myself – but I’m buzzing. I am sure they will love it really. I am over the moon.”
