Tottenham star Manor Solomon has been injured since September after joining in the summer – and Ange Postecoglou has delivered an update on the attacker, and it is not good news for Spurs man.
Solomon, 24, joined Spurs on a free in the summer after impressing on loan at Fulham last season, in which he scored five goals in 24 games. He created two goals in his six Spurs games before the injury.
Since then, the likes of Deki Kulusevski, Timo Werner and others on the flanks have impressed, probably pushing the Israel star further down the pecking order. It is unclear when Soloman is expected to return.
Earlier this month, Postecoglou said he was working hard to come back – but now, the gaffer has told today’s press conference that he is not making any proper progress in the comeback from his injury.
“No real progress. He’s still not comfortable. The medical team are looking at other strategies now,” the Tottenham manager said as per Football London, ahead of this weekend’s clash against Fulham.

Ange Postecoglou gives update on Tottenham’s Manor Solomon
It’s a shame, because Solomon is a real talent. A player that has enormous quality and has shown he can do it in the Premier League. He would have been a really solid option off the bench for the Londoners.
But instead, he has been forced to watch from the sidelines as his stop-start career continues. Fingers crossed, for player and club, Solomon can work his way back to fitness and have an impact this season.
If not, gear himself up and get ready for pre-season and then come back fighting come the start of the 2024-25 season – with Spurs likely to be in Europe in some capacity under Postecoglou next season.
