Dejan Kulusevski has told the Tottenham Hotspur website that he is very impressed by what’s happened at the club this summer.

The 22-year-old spoke after Spurs thrashed Southampton 4-1 on Saturday and is really happy with the business the club have done in the summer window.

Antonio Conte has brought in six players during the current window, including Premier League proven talents like Yves Bissouma and Richarlison.

Spurs have also signed players with high-level experience in Ivan Perisic and Clement Lenglet, while adding the up-and-coming talent Djed Spence.

Despite having more options now, Conte didn’t start any of his new signings in the club’s Premier League opener but Kulusesvki feels the new additions will be key for the team this season.

He told Spurs Play: “The players that have come in are amazing, I think they will help us a lot. It’s very important that all 20 players are ready to play.”

Conte certainly has a wealth of options across his squad now after the club have backed him in the transfer market.

Richarlison served a one-match suspension on Saturday so he was unavailable for the game against the Saints, but the Brazilian will be pushing Tottenham’s front-three this season.

Kulusevski certainly staked his claim to keep his place in the starting eleven after a brilliant performance against Ralph Hasenhuttl’s men.

Increased competition for places will definitely push the Spurs players to perform even better this season and that can only be a good thing for Conte.

Tottenham will be aiming to compete on all fronts during the current campaign and will play plenty of games, with domestic cup ties and Champions League fixtures to come.

Kulusevski is certainly right about the business the club has done this summer and Conte now looks like he is equipped to achieve big things at Spurs in the near future.
