Amad Diallo has praised a Manchester United man who he believes plays just like Red Devils legend Patrice Evra.
Manchester United emerged victorious in the Premier League against Chelsea, but they nearly made a meal of it.
After Robert Sanchez was sent off just minutes into the game, United had complete dominance – that was until Casemiro was dismissed. By then, United were already two goals up and, despite a late scare, they managed to hold on, claim all three points, and climb up to 10th in the Premier League table.

United had some solid performances, including that of Patrick Dorgu, who is cementing himself as one of the first names on the team sheet for Ruben Amorim. His teammates have certainly noticed his fine displays.
Amad compares Patrick Dorgu to Manchester United legend Patrice Evra
Dorgu took to social media after the fixture, sending a message to United supporters. It read: “One more step in the right direction.”
Players flocked to comment, with Amad’s the most noteworthy. He wrote: “Patrice Dorgu Evra” followed by a heart-eyes emoji.

The comparison is a huge compliment, with the former French full-back renowned for his quality in both attack and defence.
| Patrick Dorgu | Patrice Evra | |
|---|---|---|
| Position | Left-back | Left-back |
| Style of play | Likes to attack, explosive and can defend | Very balanced in attack and defence, tenacious |
| Age when breaking through | Teenager/early 20s | Early 20s |
Dorgu has been criticised in the past – but this game will give him a huge boost in confidence as he continues his United career.
Harry Maguire and Bruno Fernandes also comment on Patrick Dorgu
Two other United stars also showed their appreciation in the comments, with club captain Bruno Fernandes writing “Love it kid”, while Harry Maguire added two clapping emojis, indicating he too was impressed with the Belgian star’s performance.

Manchester United will be looking to make it two wins on the bounce when they travel to Brentford next Saturday, where Dorgu will surely be present once again.
They’ll need their Evra regen to be on top form as Ruben Amorim’s side look to progress higher up the Premier League table.
