Amad Diallo may only be a young player, but he’s already played with some incredibly talented footballers.

Indeed, Diallo has been lucky enough to play alongside the likes of Kobbie Mainoo, Bruno Fernandes and Alejandro Garnacho already in his career.

Manchester United may not be playing very well at the moment, but they do still have some quality players on their books.

Speaking to JD Football on TikTok, Diallo has name the best player he’s ever played with.

Diallo could’ve chosen a whole host of players, but he named Marcus Rashford as the most talented player he’s ever worked with.

Amad Diallo names Marcus Rashford as his best teammate

Diallo was full of praise for the £300k-a-week man when speaking to JD Football.

The winger says that there are a lot of top players in the United team, but he says that Rashford made a mark on him from day one.

Rashford hasn’t been in the best of form over the past 12 months, but Diallo maintains that he’s still a top player right now.

“Can you name the best player you have ever played with?” Diallo was asked.

“Oh this is difficult. There are a lot of quality players in the team, but when I came here the player I was most impressed by was Rashy. He was quick, he was strong and I want to say Rashy because he was so good and he’s good also now,” Diallo said.

Why Gary Neville is ‘worried’ about Rashford

Diallo has given Rashford the highest praise possible here, and this is the first time in a long time that the United star has been spoken about in these terms.

Indeed, over the past 12 months or so, Rashford hasn’t been playing well, and the conversation about the attacker has been entirely negative.

Even Gary Neville recently claimed that he was worried about Rashford and his form.

“Marcus Rashford, I don’t know how to say this, but there is something not right,” Neville said.

“He’s not right. And it’s not just a case of he’s not playing football well. He doesn’t look happy. And I’m looking at him thinking I actually am worried about him.

“You know when you watch a player and you think there is something there, you know there has been a couple of incidents this season, he’s under pressure, his form is bad, we know that, but I look at him and think that’s not right that.

“I genuinely would worry about him at this moment in time because it’s not a lad who has grown up with the spirit and freedom of playing for Man United as a kid.”

Of course, we’ve been here before with Rashford when he’s dipped in and out of form, back in the 2021/22 season he hit just four goals, but the year after he was back to his best, banging in 17.

It’s hard to get to the bottom of why Rashford has been so poor as of late, but the 26-year-old should be able to get back on track with the right guidance. After all, Kyle Walker has previously called Rashford unstoppable.
