Liverpool could try to sign a new midfielder this summer, but journalist Ryan Taylor has said in his latest YouTube video that they will only make a move if it’s the right fit for the club.
The Reds were dealt an injury blow during their Premier League opener against Fulham on Saturday as Thiago was forced to come off.
With Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain sidelined and Naby Keita often struggling to stay fit, Liverpool could now decide to dip back into the market this summer, but on one condition.

Liverpool could sign new midfielder
And Taylor said that Jurgen Klopp could explore the market for potential options, but only if the player is approved by the Liverpool boss.
“I do think Liverpool will look at the market to see if there’s any options that tickle their fancy,” he said.
“But as we’ve seen with Liverpool on multiple occasions, they don’t make signings unless they’re 100 per cent set.
“Whether Jurgen Klopp has completely approved them as well. I don’t know whether Liverpool will move for a midfielder, there’s always a chance.
“There’s been injuries to Thiago recently in their 2-2 draw with Fulham. Curtis Jones has had niggles as well. You’ve got Naby Keita who can’t seem to stay fit. He had illness problems that ruled him out of the Fulham game.
“You’ve got Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, who seems to be on the sidelines for a little bit longer as well.
“If the right opportunity arises, I don’t see why Liverpool won’t actively have a look, but it needs to be the right fit for the club.”

Klopp probably wasn’t planning on moving for another midfielder this summer but the German boss may be forced to after the injury to Thiago.
Liverpool have been linked with a move to Jude Bellingham earlier in the window but it seems unlikely that Borussia Dortmund will let another star player leave after Erling Haaland joined Manchester City.
But with Thiago sidelined for up to six weeks and doubts over Oxlade-Chamberlain and Keita’s fitness, Klopp could now look to the market for opportunities in midfield.
