BBC pundit Micah Richards was seriously impressed with Newcastle United midfielder Bruno Guimaraes passing last night.
Richards was speaking on Match of the Day after Newcastle’s 1-0 win over Everton.
The game was decided by a first-half Miguel Almiron goal that was curled past Jordan Pickford.
Almiron was assisted by Guimaraes, his pass into Almiron was weighted perfectly for the winger to be able to shoot first time.

It was another brilliant performance from the Brazilian, who has been one of the Premier League’s standout players this season.
Eddie Howe has given Guimaraes plenty of defensive duties, but he’s always popping up in the right place at the right time.
The way he reads the game and combines with his teammates is a wonderful skill to have.
Richards was impressed again by Guimaraes yesterday, particularly with how he dictated the game.
Richards impressed with Guimaraes passing
There was plenty to be happy with at St. James’ Park from a Newcastle perspective.
But Richards pinpointed Guimaraes’ passing contribution, saying: “It was another Bruno (Guimaraes) today! It was all parts of his game, he has lovely technique, one touch and two touch.
“He gets in areas and you are watching the game and what you are thinking in your head he does straight away.
“He gets into positions and was up against (Amadou) Onana and (Idrissa) Gueye, which means it was always going to be a tough battle for him, but it was all about him.
“Every time he got on the ball it was can we pass it forward; can we dictate the pace of the game.
“This is the side I loved about him as well, putting the work in for his team, running back.

“He has the tenacity to get back for his team and it was an all-round great performance for one of the signings for Newcastle in recent years.”
Guimaraes was asked after the match if Newcastle should have Champions League ambitions this season.
He replied: “Yeah it’s a possibility,” which will be music to Newcastle fans ears.
Howe’s side currently sit sixth in the Premier League, but only two points off fourth place Chelsea.
Guimaraes is raising standards in training as well, with Miguel Almiron saying he’s ‘absolutely fantastic’ behind-the-scenes.
Richards was right to be impressed with Guimaraes’ passing last night.
At this point, his performances shouldn’t be a surprise to anyone anymore.
