After the Riccardo Calafiori deal, Arsenal are closing in on the signing of a highly-rated Euro 2024 sensation.
Arsenal have bided their time in the summer transfer window but now their business is starting to really accelerate.
Italy international Riccardo Calafiori is set to undergo a medical in Los Angeles and there could be another imminent arrival joining him in the coming days.

Belief Arsenal are about to sign Mikel Merino
According to Spanish outlet Sport, ‘everything indicates’ towards Arsenal signing Real Soceidad midfielder Mikel Merino.
It’s thought Merino favours a move to the Premier League despite interest from La Liga giants Barcelona and Atletico Madrid.
The 28-year-old has one year remaining on his deal so a fee of around £21m is expected to be enough to close an agreement between the two clubs.
Merino has been in contact with Mikel Arteta over the last few weeks and is completely sold on the idea of playing under him.
Arsenal also looking at Brian Brobbey
As well as Merino, Arsenal are also weighing up a move for Ajax attacker Brian Brobbey, as exclusively revealed by TBR Sport.
The 21-year-old is on their shortlist if they decide to move for a centre-forward after a prolific season in the Eredivisie.
Spain star Nico Williams remains a top priority for Arteta, though, unlike the Merino deal, Barcelona are thought to be in the driving seat.
Lamine Yamal is desperate for Williams to link up with him at the Camp Nou after the duo tore it up in Germany.
In other news, Mikel Arteta has been left very annoyed at £10k-a-week Arsenal player’s passing in Bournemouth friendly.
