AC Milan fans react as Tottenham reportedly table offer to sign Franck Kessie
Tottenham Hotspur have reportedly tabled an offer to sign AC Milan midfielder Franck Kessie – and Milan fans have reacted on Twitter.
Kessie, 24, is a man in demand at the moment. The Ivory Coast international is currently in the final 12 months of his contract at Milan.
That is, despite having a hand in 20 goals from midfield for the huge Serie A club last season. Scoring 14 times, Kessie turned provider on six occasions.
Fabio Paratici is looking to work his magic. The new Tottenham sporting director has already wielded his negotiating power, in the summer window.
Bringing in Bryan Gil, Pape Sarr, Cristian Romero, Pierluigi Gollini and Emerson Royal – Paratici also offloaded Tottenham’s elder, fringe players.
A younger, more exciting approach is the order of the day. Kessie falls right into that bracket. Tottenham have made an offer, according to reports.
Kessie to Tottenham: What do Milan fans think of a potential move?
Milan are only willing to pay Kessie £82,000 a week on a five-year deal- though the latter two years will see his pay increase considerably.
So, what does Kessie do? Continue to stay at Milan, who are part of the Champions League this season, or does he give in to Tottenham’s riches?
Well, Milan fans are concerned – at least, some of them. Many want him to stay, while some are ready to see the back of the former Atalanta star.
