CalcioMercato claim that Tottenham have tabled a £130,000-a-week offer to sign AC Milan star Franck Kessie, with his current deal close to expiring.
Kessie, 24, is in high demand after scoring 14 goals and laying on six assists in 50 appearances during the 2020-21 season. His deal ends in June 2022.
Milan are desperately trying to keep him – offering him a contract worth £82,000 a week. That is, a deal that increases in the fourth and fifth years.
But Tottenham are attempting to blow Milan out of the water with an offer of £130,000 a week. As things stand, Milan are struggling to tie Kessie down.
Milan last spoke to Kessie in regards to a new deal on August 20, with Kessie rejecting the last offer. Tottenham are looking more and more likely.

Kessie to Tottenham: Bad news for England international Winks?
Kessie would be a sensational signing for Tottenham. One of Italian football’s best midfielders, he could be signed by Spurs for nothing.
But Spurs are already well stocked in midfield. Dele Alli is in resurgent form and Oliver Skipp has returned from a loan to shine alongside Dele.
Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg is first choice, while Tanguy Ndombele and Winks remain at the club. Gio Lo Celso is also an option in midfield.
Pape Matar Sarr has also been signed from Metz, though has remained with the Ligue 1 side on loan. He returns next summer from the French club.
Room will have to be made for Kessie. If any of the aforementioned players are to leave to make room for Kessie, one would suggest it would be Winks.
