Former Tottenham midfielder turned pundit Tim Sherwood was seriously impressed with one Spurs player at Nottingham Forest last night.
Tottenham managed to see off Forest thanks to goals from Richarlison and then Dejan Kulusevski. This, despite Yves Bissouma being sent off for another reckless piece of play.
For Ange Postecoglou, the three points were just as important as anything and while Bissouma’s red will have put a dampener on things, he’ll have little complaints over the performance.
Indeed, when it comes to the individual display of the aforementioned Kulusevski, Postecoglou will be delighted.

And watching on for Premier League Productions last night, former Spurs star Tim Sherwood admitted he’d been seriously impressed by Kulusevski.
“You have to give credit to Spurs. It was very efficient but not spectacular. Dejan Kulusevski was absolutely magnificent. He started more central then moved to the right side and provided the golden moments of the game,” Sherwood said.
Tim Sherwood as impressed as every Tottenham fan with Dejan Kulusevski
There is no doubt that Dejan Kulusevski seems to have stepped up to the plate a bit since the departure of Harry Kane in the summer.
Just like Heung-Min Son, the Swedish winger seems to have decided that the time is right for him to have a big impact on this team and really put himself forward as a leader.
Last night, Kulusevski effectively decided the game with two moments of big quality in the 90 minutes.
His cross for Richarlison was world class and then the composure he showed to smash in the second showed how good he can be in front of goal as well.
Right now, there are few players in the league looking in as good nick as Kulusevski. And while ever he can stay fit alongside Son, then Spurs have a chance in any game.
