Aaron Ramsey discusses future with Newcastle, Everton and Palace all keen

Aaron Ramsey has interest from Newcastle’s new owners, as well as Everton and Palace – but has committed his immediate future to Juventus.

The 30-year-old is struggling to rediscover his best form in the black and white of Juve. He joined the Old Lady back in the summer of 2019 on a free.

Since then, he has played 69 times for Juve – but only started 35 of those. Six goals and six assists have come, stats far below his Arsenal standard.

One goal involvement in six at Juve is easily surpassed by his 130 goals and assists in 371 Arsenal games – a better ratio than one in every three outings.

CalcioMercato say Ramsey is keen on a return to the Premier League, and that Juve want his wages off the books. Three clubs are said to be keen.

Newcastle’s new owners want the 67-time Wales international, while Palace and Everton are also eyeing a move. Ramsey spoke about his future.

“I’m contracted to Juventus, I still have a year and a half left,” Ramsey said – as per Football Daily. “Hopefully I can show what I can do there.”

Ramsey on future: Could he be the face of Newcastle takeover?

Ramsey has that aura. He has that international stardom, that big-club mentality, big wages, superstar kind of quality that makes him exciting.

Newcastle’s new owners need a man that can adhere to the jubilation of supporters. A couple of young additions from overseas will not do it.

But bringing in a player as proven as Ramsey will convince fans that Amanda Staveley’s consortium is going to put their money on the table.

However, it seems that have some convincing to do with Ramsey keen on proving himself at Juventus. Financially, they can certainly tempt.
