Man City-linked Manuel Locatelli has claimed that he’ll talk about a transfer with Sassuolo after Euro 2020.
In an interview, the Italy international has claimed that he knows what he has to do in July. The star has also spoken to the board over his future.
The midfielder has been linked with a raft of clubs all across Europe, including Manchester City.
Locatelli’s agent confirmed in January that the Citizens were ‘monitoring’ his client. However, he is also being chased by Juventus and Real Madrid this summer.
The ace enjoyed a brilliant season in the Italian top-flight, making 34 appearances. He helped the Black and Greens finish eighth in the division.
When talking about his future, Locatelli said: “I’ll decide my future after the Euros. I talked with Sassuolo board – we know what we’ve to do in July.”

TBR View: Locatelli transfer would saturate Man City midfield
Over the course of Guardiola’s reign at Man City, he has invested heavily in his squad.
Full-back, centre-half and central midfield have been key areas of interest to the Spaniard.
Quite a bit of money has been invested in the wide areas. The likes of Kyle Walker, Joao Cancelo and Benjamin Mendy have all joined in recent summers.
Signing Locatelli serves no purpose other than to saturate what is an already packed position.
Fernandinho, Rodri and Ilkay Gundogan already feature at the heart of the midfield. And with Kevin de Bruyne possessing the ability to play as an eight, he too is an option.
Meanwhile, Locatelli doesn’t prove to be better than City’s options. Rodri possesses a better pass accuracy and averages more passes per game.
And with City needing to invest in the centre-forward position, the club should forget the youngster.
There are other positions which hold a higher priority than midfield. Chasing a transfer for Locatell serves no purpose for Man City.
