Some Arsenal fans were left feeling excited after reports emerged over their transfer for Emiliano Buendia.
According to The Sun, the Gunners have made a £30m+ bid for the Argentine attacking midfielder. However, the publication claims Aston Villa have also made a similar offer.
The bid won’t be enough to prize the ace from Carrow Road with the Canaries demanding £40m. The star’s former club, Getafe, have a 20% sell-on clause in the player’s contract
Norwich are said to have accepted that the 24-year-old is likely to leave this summer.
The South American has been called-up to the Argentina squad for the first time for this month’s World Cup qualifiers and Copa America.

TBR View: Buendia would be a smart transfer for Arsenal
Arsenal are in desperate need for an attacking midfielder after struggling to create chances last season.
Despite the breakthrough of Emile Smith Rowe and acquisition of Martin Odegaard, the Gunners have failed to score in nine games this year.
However, Real Madrid are demanding €60m (£51.5m) for the Norwegian playmaker. It means Bunedia is the more sensible option at almost £11.5m cheaper.
