Arsenal and Tottenham are often butting heads in the transfer market.

Spurs and Arsenal are the biggest of rivals on the pitch, but they also often go after the same transfer targets in the market.

Both teams are said to be keen on Eberechi Eze, while Ivan Toney has been linked to both north London clubs as well.

Pedro Neto is another player who has been linked with both north London clubs, and according to Team News and Ticks, speaking on his Patreon page, Spurs are more likely to sign the £40m man.

The insider knows his stuff when it comes to transfers, and he says that Neto is more likely to join Spurs than the Gunners at this point.

Tottenham are more likely to sign Pedro Neto

The insider shared what he knows about Neto.

“If I had a gun to my head now and I had to answer I would say that Tottenham are more likely. Just because he’s lower down our list and they could swoop in while we’re exploring other opportunities. I also think they would go for a higher price to him than we would,” The insider said.

What Pedro Neto has said about Arsenal

Pedro Neto may be more likely to join Tottenham this summer, but he would probably prefer a move to Arsenal.

Not only are Arsenal ahead of Spurs in a footballing sense at the moment, Neto does have a fair amount of sentiment for the Gunners.

Indeed, Neto has previously admitted that he was an Arsenal fan as a child.

“When I was a kid, my favourite team in England was Arsenal,” Neto said.

“Arsenal with Arsene Wenger (later on in his career), they don’t win trophies but they played very good football.”

Neto may have conflicting feelings about signing for Tottenham, but, if Spurs are willing to pay more money than Arsenal, the winger may end up on the lilywhite side of north London instead.
