24-year-old Tottenham player has just hinted he’ll be back from injury very soon

Pedro Porro has just hinted that he’ll be back from injury for Tottenham Hotspur soon.

The Spaniard missed out on Tottenham’s 2-1 defeat to Wolves over the weekend after picking up an injury in training.

Ange Postecoglou confirmed ahead of Saturday’s defeat that Porro had picked up a ‘strain’ and would be out for a couple of weeks. 

It’s fair to say that Spurs missed the 24-year-old on Saturday, with Emerson Royal struggling to provide a similar level of quality in that inverted full-back role.

But Porro has suggested that a return to action could be imminent on his TikTok account. 

Porro hints at imminent Tottenham return

Porro posted a compilation of him working out in the gym on his TikTok page.

A fan then asked whether he should transfer him out of his Fantasy Premier League team, they wrote: “How long Porro, not sure whether to transfer you out my FPL team?”

Porro responded: “Don’t sell me,” alongside a laughing face emoji.

There have already been suggestions that Porro is expected to be back for Tottenham’s clash against Crystal Palace next weekend.

Alongside Porro, Destiny Udogie also missed the defeat to Wolves and their absences were certainly felt. 

Porro has been Spurs’ most creative player this season, having registered eight assists in the Premier League already.

The former Sporting CP full-back has quickly established himself as a key man under Postecoglou and has surprised many with how well he’s taken to his new role.

It would appear that a return for Porro is imminent and it would be a huge boost for Postecoglou to have him back for the Palace game.

Spurs will be desperate to get back to winning ways after a lacklustre display against Wolves and they stand a better chance of doing so with Porro available.
