Tottenham Hotspur boss Ange Postecoglou’s dream signing for his midfield is Chelsea star Conor Gallagher.
Spurs have had an impressive season so far and their recruitment has been fantastic as well. There is still a long way to go before they can challenge for the big trophies, and Postecoglou wants many more top-quality players at Tottenham. Gallagher is one of them.

Conor Gallagher is Tottenham’s dream signing in midfield
Chelsea star Conor Gallagher has been linked with a move to Tottenham for over six months now.
The Englishman has been one of Mauricio Pochettino‘s better players this season. He is a fine talent and Chelsea would ideally like to keep hold of him.
However, Gallagher will enter the final year of his contract this summer, and selling him would help Chelsea as they aim to get out of the hole they’re in with respect to FFP and PSR regulations.
Gallagher will have a few suitors and Tottenham’s interest has not gone anywhere. They are keen to sign him, and journalist Dean Jones has told GiveMeSport that the 24-year-old is Spurs’ ‘dream’ signing in the number eight position.
He said: “Tottenham are absolutely convinced that he’s the kind of dream number eight that they’re after. So from a playing style, and personality on the pitch, Conor Gallagher really does fit the ethos of where they want to take this team.
“I’d say things that go against it at the moment are the fact that Conor Gallagher is Chelsea through and through. And that does sometimes play into whether a player would be willing to join a certain team.
“I’m not ruling out that he would join Tottenham, but it’s something to consider.”

Gallagher would improve massively under Ange Postecoglou
Almost every player at Tottenham has improved under Ange Postecoglou since he took the job last summer.
The Australian is a phenomenal manager. He has completely turned things around at Spurs, and even though they are nowhere near their peak yet, they are on the right path.
Conor Gallagher is a wonderful footballer. He has been brilliant in the Premier League for a few years now, and we’re convinced he will be even better if he plays under Postecoglou.
The summer transfer window is still a few months away, so it will be interesting to see how this story pans out.
