Cyril Ngonge reportedly isn’t keen on a move to Aston Villa this January despite the Premier League side reaching an agreement with Hellas Verona for the forward.
The Belgian has emerged as a top target for Villa this window, with reports emerging this week that Unai Emery and his team have already struck an agreement with the Serie A side for Ngonge.
However, it now appears that there could be an issue for Villa in their bid to sign the 23-year-old, with Ngonge seemingly not sold on a move to the Premier League.

Tutto Hellas Verona report that the Belgian doesn’t want to leave Serie A, with Ngonge having a desire to remain in Italy despite being courted by second-place Villa.
Indeed, rejecting a move to the Premier League has become something of a rarity these days given just how big the division now is in the global game.
And for Villa, Ngonge turning down a switch to Villa Park will come as a surprise for Emery, who seemed confident in bringing the Hellas Verona star to England this January.
Aston Villa have to return to the drawing board after Cyril Ngonge snub

Losing out on a target so early in the window having put in the work will be a hammer blow for Villa, who got off their mark quickly to wrap up a deal for Ngonge.
However, the general direction of the transfer seems to indicate that it could soon collapse due to a lack of personal interest in the move from the Belgian forward.
As a result, Villa have to move fast to sign a replacement, with the Villa Park side no doubt working already to find an alternative to Ngonge, a process that could be easier said than done.
