Tottenham Hotspurs’ Son Heung-Min has now admitted that he regrets one part of his performance against Fulham on Monday night.
Son was speaking with Spurs Play after the game via X, and admitted he wasn’t too proud of his reaction to being subbed.

Ange Postecoglou decided to withdraw Son in the 82nd minute, with Alejo Veliz heading up top.
And at the time Son was visibly frustrated that his Tottenham display was cut short against Fulham.
But he now says that’s something he regrets.
Son said: “As a player I want to always be on the pitch and I think this situation is a little bit of frustration.
“But I think when you see the player coming on, it should be a really happy moment, because when you see the player coming on it’s a young lad who is working really hard in training.
“They deserve to play. I think when I’m thinking now I am just regretting it a little bit because I should give more support for them.
“But I think they did a fantastic job to get a clean sheet today as well and I am very happy to see young lads coming on to play in this fantastic stadium.”
Son was at his lethal best when Tottenham beat Fulham
On reflection, Son will also be aware that Ange was helping to manage a persistent groin issue that has been troubling his captain.
Postecoglou did reveal yesterday that he trusts Son to make his own decisions regarding his fitness before the games.

And the Australian insisted that he won’t try to change Son.
However, that doesn’t mean he won’t be sensible during the 90 minutes.
And despite a slight dip for Ange’s side in the second half, he must have been confident that the job was almost done.
Moreover, that was a job made a lot more secure because of a very impressive performance by Gugliermo Vicario.
Whilst £22m Son will take the headlines for his Tottenham showing against Fulham, the Italian did play a pivotal role.
