According to a recent report, a rumoured Liverpool target is in talks to sign for Borussia Dortmund this summer transfer window.
Liverpool have made a pretty slow start to the window but now that Euro 2024 has ended, business is expected to be ramped up in the coming weeks.
Arne Slot will be keen to make his own imprint on the squad following Jurgen Klopp’s departure and is believed to be in the market for a centre-back, defensive midfielder and an attacker.
Though, one of his rumoured attacking targets could be about to join Borussia Dortmund.

Rayan Cherki in talks to join Borussia Dortmund
Liverpool have made contact to sign Lyon attacker Rayan Cherki this window, who has one year remaining on his deal.
As such, the Frenchman is expected to be available for a discounted fee worth £20m, putting several clubs on red alert.
Now, Borussia Dortmund have joined the race and seem to have stolen a march on Liverpool for his signature.
That’s according to Sky Germany, who claim Cherki is in talks to join the Bundesliga club and there is great belief a deal will be agreed.
It remains to be seen if Liverpool will make a late approach to hijack the deal.
Rayan Cherki profile
Cherki is an extremely versatile playmaker who can operate in a number of different positions.
The 20-year-old can ply his trade off both flanks, as number 10 and even as a centre-forward, amplifying his football intelligence.
He’s both-footed, too, so he can go either way, making it so tough for the opposition to defend against him.
In other news, Arne Slot has decided he wants Liverpool to sign a £37m-rated ‘phenomenon’ this summer transfer window.
