To say that Ange Postecoglou has changed things at Tottenham would be an understatement.

The Australian has turned Spurs into a completely different side this season. The north London club have become this free-flowing attacking outfit that look completely different to Antonio Conte’s side last season.

There are a number of players who have benefitted from Postecoglou’s arrival, and perhaps the player who has most benefitted from this switch is Yves Bissouma.

Speaking to Sky Sports, Bissouma has been discussing Postecoglou as a manager, and he’s made no secret about how much he loves the Spurs boss.

Yves Bissouma loves Ange Postecoglou

The Malian midfielder spoke about how much he loves working under his current manager.

“To be honest it’s very good to work with him. He’s a very good coach. The way he manages the team and the players. For me he’s one of the best coaches I’ve met in my career, I’m so happy to be with him,” Bissouma said.

“He really cares about his players, he treats his players like a family, they say that everytime we have to be like a family and he’s the first to show us the way to be like that. I think to meet a coach like him is very special for me. He’s my manager, my boss and part of my family as well.”

Ange Postecoglou has helped Yves Bissouma

It’s not at all shocking to hear that Bissouma is a huge fan of the £100k-a-week man.

The Australian has really taken to Bissouma and he’s allowed him to, once again, play the style of football he genuinely enjoys.

Bissouma, as we saw at Brighton, plays his best football when he’s allowed to be free on the ball and move forwards, and Postecoglou has re-instated that level of freedom in the midfielder’s game.

Postecoglou has been brilliant for Tottenham, and Bissouma may be the player who’s benefitted the most from his arrival.
