Arsenal academy star Miguel Azeez has endured a difficult season so far for the most part.
The Gunners midfielder is one of the brightest talents to come through the Hale End ranks in recent years.
Arsenal sent Azeez out on loan at Portsmouth last summer, his first loan spell away from the Emirates.

However, things didn’t go to plan for the 19-year-old, who struggled for game time on the south coast.
Azeez made just 10 appearances for Pompey, totalling a mere 653 minutes of senior game time.
He started just four games in League One between September and January, after which he returned to Arsenal.
Prior to Monday’s Premier League 2 meeting between Arsenal U23s and Blackburn U23s, Azeez had only scored twice in open play all season.
He netted for Pompey in November’s EFL Trophy win over Crystal Palace U23s and for Arsenal U23s against West Ham U23s last August.
On Monday, Azeez finally found the back of the net again, breaking the deadlock in the 2-2 draw at Meadow Park.
A weight lifted off the Arsenal prodigy’s shoulders, and on social media, he made his feelings clear:
Plenty of Hale End peers, past and present, congratulated Azeez, including Yunus Musah:

Musah came through the Arsenal academy ranks before choosing to swap London for Spain, joining Valencia in 2019.
He is now a regular in Los Che’s first-team, clocking up 61 competitive appearances so far.
Musah also has 13 caps for the United States senior team.

It’s great to see the 19-year-old still has time for his former teammates at Hale End.
Hopefully it won’t be long before the incredibly talented Azeez is also getting first-team football – ideally at Arsenal.
