A number of Leeds United fans have given their thoughts on Ollie Watkins, reportedly a prior Elland Road target, sealing a move to Aston Villa.
In early August, the Daily Mail reported that the 24-year-old had been spoken of as a potential recruit as the Whites sought to bring in a striker to support Patrick Bamford.
In the end, Leeds signed Rodrigo Moreno instead, the 29-year-old joining the Whites from Valencia for a club record £26million, and penning a four-year deal at Elland Road.

As for Watkins, he got his Premier League move in the end, joining the Villa Park outfit for a reported club record fee of £28million, which could rise to £33million with add-ons.
Some Leeds fans feel that Rodrigo, a 23-cap Spain international with extensive La Liga and European experience, was better value than Watkins, who is yet to play in the top tier.
Here is what some of the Elland Road faithful have been saying on social media:
Leeds get their Premier League campaign under way on Saturday at Liverpool, while Villa open their programme away at Manchester United.
Marcelo Bielsa’s charges and Dean Smith’s side will lock horns at Villa Park on 24 October and at Elland Road on 27 February.
