‘You were everywhere’: Manchester City fans rave about Fernandinho on Twitter after West Ham win

Manchester City kept up their stunning recent record by battling past West Ham in the Premier League, as John Stones and Ruben Dias ensured a 2-1 win.

Despite the return of Sergio Aguero, it was left to the central defensive duo of Stones and Dias to score the goals, as Michail Antonio’s effort looked to be sending the Hammers on their way to a point.

But despite the defenders getting plaudits again and Aguero being in the limelight, it was the performance of Fernandinho in the middle of the park that caught the eye of some City fans.

The experienced Brazilian was given the nod in midfield and, as usual, did not let Pep Guardiola down. A long-time servant for City, Fernandinho has simply become Mr Reliable in the squad.

And Twitter echoed those thoughts, as a number of City fans took time out to sing the praises of their experienced midfield general.
