‘You love to see it’: Aston Villa fans react as Carney Chukwuemeka gets first contract

Aston Villa have confirmed that youngster, Carney Chukwuemeka, has signed his first professional contract with the club today.

The teenager sensation has been high on the list of ones to watch at Villa Park and has now agreed terms on his first deal with the club after turning 17 this week.

The club’s website confirmed the deal earlier today, with Chukwuemeka already a regular for the under-23s despite being under 18.

Academy boss Mark Harrison admitted he was ‘delighted’ to see the youngster sign terms, admitting one of the club’s long-term objectives is to be able to keep providing players who can push for the first-team.

Villa fans, then, were loving the news and took to Twitter to offer their thoughts and congratulations to the youngster following the announcement.
