Rangers striker Kemar Roofe got himself off the mark for the Gers yesterday as he bagged the opening goal in a 2-0 win over Kilmarnock.
The former Leeds ace, who was a surprise signing for Steven Gerrard’s men a few weeks ago, got himself up and running with a well-taken goal to set the Gers on their way to a vital three points.
Roofe was a big-name signing for Rangers this summer. After struggling with injuries over in Belgium with Anderlecht, Roofe will now be desperate to make an impression at Ibrox and he did himself no harm with yesterday’s performance.
Rangers fans, then, loved what they saw on from their new striker, with plenty of Gers supporters taking to Twitter to sing his praises.
It seems Roofe is already loved among some Rangers supporters, while some can’t wait to see even more from their man.
Love this guy already, going to be class 👏

You can see his quality, once he gets up to speed I personally think he’ll be up there with the best of them 😁

The header that hit the post before his goal was so typical of his goals scored for Leeds. He looks like a player that could fit right in at Ibrox! #gers55
