A number of Tottenham Hotspur fans have taken to Twitter to rejoice in the club’s fitness update on Spurs midfielder Moussa Sissoko.
The 30-year-old has not featured for Tottenham since suffering a knee injury in the New Year’s Day defeat against Southampton, the game in which Harry Kane was also ruled out of action.
Spurs head coach Jose Mourinho has had to contend with a growing injury list over the past few months and he previously told Football London he expected Sissoko back around April.

However, recovery seems to be going ahead of schedule as Tottenham confirmed on their social media channel that the France international is now back in full first-team training.
Spurs also shared an image of Sissoko in training, captioned “great to see you making progress, Moussa!”
Tottenham fans haven’t had much to smile about in recent months but the return of Sissoko, a player who has become indispensable for the club over the past 18 months, was good news indeed.
Here is how some supporters reacted on social media about the £30million man being back in training:
Tottenham’s next scheduled match was due to be on Sunday against Manchester United, but the Premier League, along with the EFL and the WSL, have agreed to postpone the professional game in England until at least 4 April.
